MaskOnOC
ORANGE COUNTY – As COVID-19 cases continue to rise in Orange County, eight elected officials have joined together to film a “#MaskOn, OC” Public Service Announcement (PSA).
"The science is clear. Wearing masks reduces the spread of COVID-19, and masks also protect those who wear them," said Senator Tom Umberg (D - Santa Ana) "We spread droplets when we speak, sneeze or cough. There are individuals who spread the virus and do not know they have it. It’s common sense -- more people wearing masks results in better protection for everyone. Be a patriot – wear a mask."
The video features: Congressional members Gil Cisneros (CA-39), Katie Porter (CA-45), Harley Rouda (CA-48), Alan Lowenthal (CA-47), Mike Levin (CA-49), CA State Senator Tom Umberg (State District 48th) and CA State Assemblymembers Cottie Petrie-Norris (AD-74) and Sharon Quirk Silva (AD-65), and is a reminder to Orange County residents to remember to wear masks while in public, especially when social distancing is not possible.
