In celebration of Asian Pacific Islander Heritage Month, we are excited to announce that nominations are now open for the 2022 API Leadership Award Ceremony. This awards ceremony will recognize local API leaders who have made significant contributions to our community. Help celebrate Asian Pacific Islander Heritage Month and the local leaders who make valuable contributions to our community, by filling out the nominations form below!
For these awards, we invite you to nominate someone who lives or works in the 34th Senate District and who has made significant contributions to our community. Nominations are now open for several categories, including:
Outstanding Organizations/ Businesses – API organizations or businesses focused on serving the community and made an impact, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic and API hate issues.
Community Leaders – API individuals who make a difference in the non-profit, business community, education, public safety, healthcare, and art community.
Emerging Leaders – API youth an individuals under the age of 30 in the community who make a difference and are likely to become the leaders of the future.
The nomination deadline is April 25, 2022. The API Leadership Awards Ceremony will be held on May 14th, 2022, with more details to follow.
