Local, State and Federal COVID-19 Information, Updates, and Resources

Dear Friends,

I’m writing to provide you with an update on ongoing actions being taken by the Federal Government, the State of California, and your local municipal bodies in response to Coronavirus (COVID-19). Please check my webpage  regularly as a vital resource for information.

The President and Governor have declared emergencies in response to Coronavirus. These actions enable us to provide greater support to state and local efforts to respond to the crisis, while also giving hospitals flexibility to take expanded action.

Everyone has a role to play. Things you should do include:

  • Staying home. Minimizing errands and non-essential trips.
  • Washing hands regularly with soap and water.
  • Avoiding touching eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Avoiding close contact with people who are sick.
  • Following guidance from public health officials.

It is important that anyone experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, call their health care provider first before walking into a doctor’s office or care facility.

Unless you work in an essential industry, as defined by the federal government, you should stay home and prepare to isolate if you become sick with symptoms like a fever or cough.

REMEMBER, WE ARE IN THIS TOGETHER.
