On June 22, 2024, from 10:00am to 2:00pm I will be partnering with the Office of Anaheim Councilmember Carlos Leon, Loara High School, and over thirty of Orange County’s finest organizations to provide free health services and resources to residents at our Biannual Community Health Fair.

At this event, residents can receive dental screenings, general health services, asthma screenings, mammogram screenings, food boxes, healthcare information and more – all at no cost!

For women over 40 without symptoms, mammography is typically covered. For those under 40, you must have a doctor’s order. If you are under 30 the doctor’s order must specify why you are high risk (such as strong family history, BCRA mutation, etc.) If you have insurance, please bring proof of insurance to the event and present it when you go for your screening. If you do not have insurance, you may still receive a free screening courtesy of the California Department of Health Care Services’ Cancer Detection Program for any and all women who are 40 years or older, have low household income, and no insurance.

I’m proud to be able to host our fifth health fair in two years, and our third in Anaheim! This event always brings outstanding feedback from the community, and we’re looking forward to seeing similar success with this one.
